School Council

One child from each year group (Year R to 6) is elected by the other children in their year group to the School Council at the start of every term to represent their year group. The School Council meets regularly to discuss ideas for improving the school, charity events and any suggestions or questions brought to them by other children. They have the responsibility to feed back to the children in their classes.

The year 6 member becomes chair in their second term.

20.1.2017

The children have held their first School Council Assembly where they have shown the other children a suggestion box for any child to make a suggestion about something they would like to have in school. This could be from equipment to a visitor or even a special school trip. This is the start of getting the children to voice their ideas on the school. These will be held monthly.
